Presenting Norfolk's own singer-songwriter

Stig Denson

In the 1960s Norfolk had the "Singing Postman" but Stig is more of a serious artist and one of local music’s best kept secrets, performing his own brand of romantic love songs with his versatile voice and gentle folk guitar.

Stig sings a combination of his own compositions such as "Cry of a Seagull", "Blue Skies", "I Do Want You" and "Changing Wind" as well as distinctive cover versions of popular songs and traditional ballads.

He plays small, select gatherings including guest spots at local folk clubs and garden parties and has  released a CD. This contains a collection of easy listening songs, the majority of which are self-compositions plus some traditional folk/classic covers. Stig raised money for Addenbrookes hospital in 2006 with his Stig Sings for Stroke concert.

Stig's songs are regularly in the folk play charts on the internet and many, including his award-winning "Cry of a Seagull" signature song, have reached the No. 1 spot on EZfolk.com where you can listen to and download some of his music which has also received airplay on local stations including Wayland Radio.
